FotoFacial RF for Rosacea Treatment

FotoFacial RF

FotoFacial RF

FotoFacial RF® treatments involve using pulses of laser light that are combined with low-level radiofrequency energy to treat imperfections on the skin. It is effective for improving the appearance of rosacea as well as sun damage and pigmentation, fine wrinkles and dilated capillaries. There is no recovery time required after this rosacea treatment, and most people need a series of treatments depending on their skin issues.

The non-invasive procedure can be used to treat the face, neck or other areas of the body. It combines the best of cosmetic plastic surgery and aesthetic dermatologic skin care into one procedure. Considered the next generation of high-tech skin rejuvenation, after a series of treatments, your skin may be smoother in texture and color with the redness gone.

Rosacea is a skin condition that does not have a cure. That does not mean the symptoms cannot be treated and reduced. FotoFacial RF® is the standard treatment today to reduce or remove the flushing, redness and ruddy complexion caused by broken capillaries and spider veins on the face.

The main symptoms of rosacea are visible blood vessels and redness on the skin. There may be small, pus-filled bumps that flare up for a few weeks or months and then subside. It may look like acne, an allergic reaction or other skin problem. Triggers such as hot drinks, alcohol, spicy food, cold wind, overexertion, cosmetics and some medications can cause flare-ups. Women, people who smoke, people over the age of 30 and people with sun-damaged skin are more prone to develop rosacea.

When you consult our specialist, your skin condition will be examined and diagnosed. If it can be treated, FotoFacial RF® may be recommended. If you are a good candidate for this rosacea treatment, the treatment can be done right here in our office. Our specialist will help you understand reasonable expectations so you will be happy with the results.

Once your skin has reached its optimum appearance, our specialist can give you a customized skin care regimen to help maintain the results. You can go to work or your regular daily activities after each treatment. After the completion of a FotoFacial RF® program, your skin may have an even color and look smooth and youthful. To maintain these results, we may recommend that you have a treatment every so often.

If you have facial redness, swollen red bumps and other symptoms of rosacea, FotoFacial RF® may be your best option for rosacea treatment. Make an appointment with us at Doctors Med Spa to learn more. Contact us today to schedule a consultation at our office in Little Rock.
